When something fails - it fails. For any government to artificially prop it up is a recipe for future and growing pains all funded by us - the government. (It is STILL a government OF THE PEOPLE - for now). The longer term solution is related to one thing - education. We have a nation of people who do not know any better - and have been indoctrinated with thinking the government is the solution and thinking that we have no other choice.
